Leon Levy Foundation, founded in 2004, is a private, not-for-profit foundation created from the estate of Leon Levy, an investor with a longstanding commitment to philanthropy. The Foundation’s overarching goal is to support scholarship at the highest level, ultimately advancing knowledge and improving the lives of individuals and society at large.

Arcadia's mission is to protect endangered culture and nature. It works to document near extinct languages, to protect rare historical archives, and to preserve ecosystems and environments threatened with extinction. Arcadia has been heavily involved with digitization projects as well, in conjunction with the Israel Antiquities Authority, Harvard University, UCLA, the National Library of Israel and The Hill Foundation.
